New York is my happiest place on earth. Not only is it the birthplace and Mecca of fashion, but it's the city with the BEST food for someone who thrives on carbs.
Every chance I get to travel to the city of dreams, I make sure to get my everything bagel and a slab of fresh cream cheese. There is nothing like an early morning walk to the deli at 7AM before a long day of running around the city with no chance of stopping for a meal until the end of the day.
A NYC bagel reminds me of those mornings, that smell of the rush of the city. From the fumes of the taxis to the cold air and breeze of fresh cologne from those bankers around the Financial District. I miss it!
Since then, Winter Park has been my go to place for reliving those memories. One being, that delicious bagel!
So I introduce you to, Brooklyn Water Bagels. They are a cute breakfast/lunch diner just a few blocks away from Park Avenue. It is one of the town's best kept secrets.
Brooklyn water is seriously used to make these fresh bagels to taste just like home. The diner has a NYC deli feel and the bagels are made in their mini- factory right next to you!
They have every bagel you can think of and it is the closest taste to the city's breakfast icon!
Check them out!
